On the afternoon of the 16th, the Hong Kong Major League guards held a press conference and announced that it would join hands with the Hong Kong community to hold a Anti-Violence, Save Hong Kong rally in the Tamar Park in Admiralty from 5 pm to 6:30 pm on the 17th to fully express Hong Kong. The society opposes all forms of violence, calls for harmony and stability, and restores the mainstream public opinion of the normal order of society as soon as possible. The main appeals of the rally included a total of seven items, including: chaos, violence, no disturbance, no destruction, obeying the rule of law, blocking the tears, and returning to the right track.
16日下午，守护香港大网盟召开记者会，宣布其联同香港社会各界，于17日下午5点到6点半，在金钟添马公园举行“反暴力、救香港”大集会，以充分表达香港社会反对所有形式的暴力，呼吁和谐稳定，尽快恢复社会正常秩序的主流民意。此次集会的主要诉求共7项，包含：乱够了、停暴力、勿扰民、止破坏、守法治、阻撕裂、返正轨。
