老师好！《牛津英语使用方法指南》第四版510页讲混合时态有个例句，我好奇一个小事：If I didn’t have my walkingboots on, I think I would have really hurt my foot. 假如把这个句子的foot挖空，那我肯定填feet，由于人有两只脚。原文my foot的意思是呢？说话人特指某只脚？还是用my foot指两只脚？

在不少状况下，单数名词特别是人的器官名词用单数，表示“类指”。本句指“脚”，而非“手”，即使是成双成对的，也常用单数，如：eye, ear, hand 等。用 feet 其实是变形，添加累赘。
