生活英语|说说爱情的坏话 “脚踏两只船”如何说？

关于爱情的好话，大家已经讲了不少。这次大家就来看看一些爱情的坏话。

1. I am insecure.

我没安全感。

女孩在爱情和婚姻中常说没安全感，特别是遇见花花公子或是一心只为事业的男性。这个没安全感老外们是如此说的：I am insecure. 或是 I feel insecure. 或是直接用 insecurity 这个词，譬如：That kind of insecurity makes me feel so bad.

2. He is dating another girl on the side.

他脚踏两条船。

可不要把这句说成 I have my feet in two boats，那可是典型的Chinglish。正确的说法应该是：He is dating another girl on the side. 或是He is dating another girl behind her back. 。

On the side 这句话你去餐厅用餐时也常用到，指的是主菜以外的副餐。譬如说 I'd like salad with dressing^{1 on the side. 就是说我要沙拉和沙拉酱。和其他人一块吃饭的时候，想问需不需要再点一份也可以用这个短语，譬如：Would you like a baked potato on the side? （需不需要再点一份烤马铃薯啊?）}

3. We had a fight yesterday.

大家昨天吵架了。

纸包不住火，真相总有现形的那一天。这个时候吵架就不可防止。Have a fight 就表示吵架这个意思。若是大吵一架，最常见的讲法是We had a huge fight 或是 We had a major fight.

Fight 这个词还表示打架，它可以单用在起哄的时候。在电影Harry^{2 Potter 4中，孪生兄弟Fred和George 想用增龄药骗过火焰杯从而获得参加三强巫师争霸赛的资格，结果失败了，两个人互相指责打了起来。周围起哄的学生们就是喊着 Fight, fight, fight! 。}
