不少中文的成语或俗语谚语，在英文里是找不到完全对等的句子的
不过不管大伙怎么说语言，同样是人，常常还是会有共通的想法和情感
中文里的上梁不正下梁歪指的是假如爸爸妈妈立下了坏榜样，孩子总是也会做坏事
在英文里有句话是 The apple doesnt fall far from the tree.字面上的意思是说苹果熟成时不会掉在离树太远的地方指孩子和爸爸妈妈总是是非常类似的
不过这句话未必都是负面的意思，假使爸爸妈妈和孩子都非常不错的话，也可以用这句话表示「虎父无犬子」
当然大伙也听过简单的 Like father, like son. 这句话一般翻译成有其父必有其子，但它一般指的不是品格方面的类似，而是一些习惯、行为/反应模式等
