China is speeding up its transformation from industrialization toinformatization, said Shen Changyu, head of NIPA, at the 2019 High-level Forum on China IP Protection.中国正在加快从工业化到信息化的转型，NIPA负责人沉长宇在2019年中国常识产权保护高层平台上表示。
He said invisible assets such as patents, trademarks, copyrights,trade secrets and software are playing an increasingly important roleduring the transformation, and the importance of IPR protection wasbecoming increasingly prominent.他说，专利，商标，版权，商业秘密和软件等无形资产在转型过程中发挥着愈加要紧有哪些用途，常识产权保护的重要程度日益凸显。
In order to enhance IPR protection, China will improve intellectualproperty laws and regulations, he said.他说，为了加大常识产权保护，中国将改变常识产权法律法规。
Shen said China would make efforts to shorten the average time oftrademark review to less than five months and cut the time of high-value patents review by more than 15 percent.沉说，中国将努力将商标审察的平均时间缩短到不到五个月，并将高价值专利审察的时间缩短15％以上。
According to Shen, by the end of 2018 there were 1.62 million invention patents on the Chinese mainland, and 19.564 million effective trademarks registered.
